Questions.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Open it on your phone and add it to your Home Screen. It opens full screen like any app, no App Store needed.
Is it only for sports cards?
No. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey and soccer, plus Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Lorcana, raw or graded.
Where do card values come from?
HobbyBuff matches each card to market prices from recent sales and price guides, and keeps its value current where prices are available. You can set your own value anytime, and we keep its history.
I keep my collection in a spreadsheet. Can I bring it?
Yes. Export it as a CSV and import it. We match your columns to ours and show you the result before anything is saved.
Which graders do you support?
You can record PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC and TAG cards. PSA cards also show their population: how many exist at each grade and how rare yours is.
Who sees what I paid?
Only you. A shared for-sale page shows the card, the grade and your asking price. Never what you paid, its value or your notes.
Does it tell me when to buy or sell?
Signals point out when a card may be worth selling or buying, like a big gain that's slowing or a want list card under your price. Each one shows its reasons and the track record of that kind of signal. It's information, not financial advice.
Can I trade with other collectors?
Yes, if you choose to. Mark cards for trade and we match you with collectors who want them, and who have cards on your want list. Nobody sees your collection, and contact details are shared only after you both accept.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export your whole collection, or any filtered view of it, as a CSV at any time.
